On 12 March 2026, Blue Talent Day took place at the ACEG Wellington Arena in Ostend, as part of the Belgian Offshore Days. The event brought together more than one hundred students, trainees, and job seekers with companies from the rapidly growing offshore wind and blue economy. It was a collaboration between Belgian Offshore Cluster, POM West Flanders, VDAB, The Reef and Economisch Huis Ostend.
Blue Talent Day is aimed at students and job seekers interested in the energy of tomorrow. Visitors were given a unique insight into jobs and internships within the offshore wind industry. Companies such as Elia, Otary, Jan De Nul, Herbosch-Kiere, e-BO Enterprises and Exail presented their activities and vacancies during the Blue Talent Meets Industry session.
This was followed by a meet & greet and a guided tour along participating companies on the exhibition floor of the Belgian Offshore Days. During lunch, participants had additional time to engage with professionals from the sector.
